Business Success Network In Essex

We understand that there is something to be said about supporting local businesses. In fact, it’s something we believe in.

We also understand that due to the nature of some businesses a local advertising platform works better than a national one. We hear you and Essex has a thriving community so when David Neill called to say he wanted to put Essex on the Business Success Network Map we jumped at the chance!

Community leader and Sub Editor for Business Success Magazine… In Essex, Dave (Not David, unless he is in trouble) is a networking enthusiast and a director on the board of Essex Charity FC. Starting out as a warehouse worker at 18, he quickly worked his way up into team leader and management roles within multiple Top UK companies and developed a passion for team building. In this passion Dave found a widespread problem. A lot of companies just did not care about their staff. This inspired Dave to go off on his own and start his first business at the age of twenty-five.

Having a passion for football, Dave started his business organising small sided (6aside) football leagues in Chelmsford and Dagenham. Within just 12 months Dave took his business from zero to the largest independently run leagues in the county before selling the business to move on to ventures new. A feat he dedicates to the team he had around him.

Since then, Dave has been involved in multiple projects in different fields, all whilst doing what he loves, building a team and supporting others.

So why decide to come on board as part of the Business Success team?

“Believe it or not, I’ve always had a passion for writing and the idea of being a part of a Magazine has always appealed to me. The fact that the magazine not only promotes local business but genuinely wants to know more about them, gave me an opportunity I couldn’t say no too. I love meeting new people and finding out about their journey, taking lessons from them, and passing them on to others. The fact that I now have a platform that can give these local businesses a chance to shine, fills me with so much excitement and I just can’t wait to get started.

My vision for the magazine, is to show everyone that Essex is more than just veneers and posh handbags. These things cost a lot of money and that money must come from somewhere, right?

Essex is a hub for fantastic entrepreneurs, grafters, and inspiring people. I want to help give these unsung heroes a chance to highlight their achievements, share their journey and show off their pearly whites. LOLz. Business Success Magazine in Essex will become an integral part of the local community and we all hope that if you have a story, that you please get in touch.”

Sadly, David passed away recently in July 2023 and so we are looking for a community leader/sub editor based in Essex to take over this franchise. If you think that could be you contact us using the CONTACT FORM.
